WHO: Entering 4th grade – Entering 8th grade

WHEN: 06/10/2013- 06/30/2013

WHEN: The workshop begins on Monday, June 10th, 2013 and runs Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm for the first two weeks.  The final week, the workshop hours are 9am-7pm with additional hours on the performance weekend. The conclusion of the workshop will take place on Saturday, June 29th, 2013. Please note that this workshop is now only 3 weeks in length due to scheduling difficulties with the 4th of July holiday. However, the students will still have the same amount of time in the workshop as in years pasted with our extended work days (until 5pm) and additional hours the final week of the workshop.

WHAT: Collaborate, conceive, write, compose, choreograph, design and perform an original piece of theatre with music while working with professional artists and fellow students from around the world.

WHO: 30 students will join a professional staff from around the world and share their collective stories from all walks of life.  In doing so, one, solid, unified piece of theatre is born.  In order to make this happen, we need creative people of all types.  This experience is about the creative process, and while the performance is an enormous part of our workshop, the focus is on the weeks of creation.

PERFORMANCES: Friday, June 28th at 6:00pm and Saturday, June 29th, 2013 at 2pm the Taft University Center on the NSU Campus.

LUNCHES: Students have access to the NSU food court where they can purchase lunch for around $7.00. Lunches are not included in the price of tuition unless you are a residential student.

APPLICATION PROCESS: All applicants (including returning students) must pay a $25 application fee. Your application is not complete until the fee has been paid. If you are a new student, you must fill out the essay questions that are on the application. If you are a returning student, you do not have to complete the essay, but you must type ‘returning’ into each essay field or your application will not process correctly. Your paperwork will not be processed until your application is complete. You will hear from us, via email, within one month of submitting your application.

Please note that when you apply on-line, you must set up an account for EACH STUDENT, NOT for each family. Every individual student must register with their own account. If you have new information to enter into your account, please set up a new account.

COST: $25 application fee. $1,250 tuition (Tuition & Production Package – includes 2 T-shirts, 1 poster, a 2-line playbill ad, performance DVD, and 2 adult tickets to one performance.)  If you are a scholarship recipient or are receiving a multi-session discount, we will apply that to your final payment. You will not see the deduction when you check out.

PAYMENT: When you apply you will be able to choose from the following options: Pay in 2 monthly installments, pay in 3 monthly installments, pay in 4 monthly installments or Pay by check.  If the payment dates listed have already passed, you will be charged to get your account up to the current date. Please note if you choose the “Pay by check” option, you are responsible for sending in payment.  You will NOT be billed other than the initial acceptance letter and statement of amount due that you will receive via email. If you have other questions about payment, you might find the information you are looking for HERE.

DISCOUNTS: If a student is attending more than one of our summer workshops, they will receive one $100 discount from the final payment of the final workshop. If a family has more than one student attending one of our workshops, they will receive one $100 discount from the final payment of the final workshop.

RESIDENTIAL HOUSING: There is no residential housing available for our Junior workshops.

SCHOLARSHIPS: To the extent possible, Lovewell will offer partial scholarships to families with limited financial resources. Each student is eligible for one scholarship per summer. You must first apply to the workshop and be accepted before applying for a scholarship. The scholarship program works on a first come, first serve rolling basis. We highly suggest applying and securing your space in the workshop even if you intend to apply for a scholarship, as there are only 30 slots available in this workshop. REFUND POLICY
Cancellations made by March 31st, 2013 are fully refundable.  Cancellations made between April 1, 2013 and the date the workshop begins are refundable only if the space in the workshop can be filled by another full paying student.  Cancellations (for any reason) made after the workshop begins are nonrefundable.
