…so that the students and Moa can travel back to present time.

Alice and Jesper are switching places so that J can be with Emma and A can become the new leader of the Stone Age peeps.

The finale is all about a brighter future and how we can create it.

(Today has been a good day (like always). Tonight we’re having pillow talk. 
I’ll be playing an evil principal with a german accent. Today we wrote my song.
If everyone was like me
That’s what I want everyone to be
 And the world would be a fantastic place
Just like me, yeah just like me
LOVEWELL RULES!) 

Idag har vi gett vår musikal ett namn. Ur & Retur – En Musikalisk Tidslösning. Det är ett bra namn. Vi har skrivit många låtar. Nu har vi kommit långt på vår musikal.

(Today we named our show. The title doesn’t really work in English but it’s brilliant in Swedish. We have written many songs. Now we have come far in the process of creating our show.)

Today we had a visitor, Elinor, who helped us with vocals and taught some songs and exercises.

Now we are off on midsummer break for two days.
Vi ses igen på söndag!

Igår skrev vi en jättebra låt om naturen och när barnen och läraren var i klassrummet och pratade om att alla tigrar snart dör ut. Barnen brydde sig inte alls och bara ville ha rast. Idag skulle vi få våra roller till musikalen och jag fick rollen som lärare så att jag ska få sjunga vår nya låt i första scenen. Idag hade vi en oprah sångerska som hette Ellinor. Hon lärde oss två jätte bra sånger. Vi tränade in stämmor till sångerna och visade sen upp låtarna för lärarna. Jag tycker att det är jättekul på Lovewell.

(Yesterday we wrote a really good song about the nature and where the kids and the teacher are in the class room talking about that all tigers are about to become extinct. Today we decided what characters we’re going to play and I got to be the teacher, so I get to sing our new song in the opening number. Today an opera singer called Ellinor taught us two songs. We practised in harmonies and performed the songs to the staff. I think Lovewell is super fun!)

Today we decided what our show will be about. It’s very exciting! 

We had a party for Rebecka who turned 11 today! Happy birthday!

Sharing of today’s work; every group talked about characters, specific scenes or events and other things that could help us move forward. A lot of GREAT ideas!

Time to write the opening number!

We finished the first part of the opening number, where a bunch of students are in class waiting for break while the teacher tries to tell them that a lot of animals are about to become extinct:
