Wat up internet. That’s right, it’s that time of year again, the time of year where I, JD Odom, blog for the sake of Lovewell, which means that you, as the people reading this, have to listen to what I’m saying. and yes I realize that most of this post is just me talking about talking, but that is what we love about Lovewell, isn’t it, the idea that someone can speak about speaking and  that someone else will continue to listen (that someone else in this scenario is you, and the someone conversing about conversing is me). See you cant look away, even now you’re still reading this. But seriously let’s talk about Lovewell. Lovewell is amazing this year, the play is awesome and btw’s it was I who sparked the prison train of thought. It is tuesday of week three and we’re almost done with the show. Watch out because this year is gonna be great.

Hi.  My name is David Roberts.  I am having an amazing time so far at Lovewell, and I really like the way our show is coming out.  Out of all the shows I have done, this one is the most different and unique; in the style of a documentary, the show goes through the last 24 hours of the fictional character John Delaney’s life.  As a prison inmate in the show, I have been having fun writing numerous songs, learning several creepy dances, and writing insightful inmate interview scenes.  I also really enjoyed this year’s pillow talk last night.  It was definitely one of the best nights of my life.  I can’t wait for our shows this Friday and Saturday.  Come see us!

Hello my fellow readers!!! Welcome to Lovewell. Week two, day nine, scene 268! Nah, just kidding. But seriously, we’ve done so much, SO SO MUCH in this short amount of time. We’re already choreographing songs that aren’t even finished yet! This process has just been so amazing thus far. Did you know we counted to 62? Those who were there know what I’m talking about…  But anyways, I should probably say something about my feelings right now. I absolutely can’t wait to see what kind of flower this beautiful musical blossoms in to. The energy this year is just so positive and overwhelmingl creative I feel ready to burst!!! Well, today we wrote a pretty kick butt opening! With all of us singing together its going to sound amazing. Lovewell this year has been an experience like no other. I’ve been in Lovewell for 6 years and this is my first year in teen and i love it already. The teen program is so different from the junior. We are much more limited on time here in teens. Altogether the experience Lovewell presents is one you’ll never forget!

This year at Lovewell, things are going awesome. We have finally come up with a story to tell, and everyone seems to be on the same page. There is just something about this summer that is different than any other summer i have experienced at lovewell. The ideas seem to be pouring out of everyone nonstop, and i can tell that out show is going to be so unique to any other show written at lovewell, and i can’t wait for everything to be pieced together. I don’t think i have ever been more excited for a lovewell show!

Today was the first writing day of this session. We wrote the first six lines of the opening number and finished learning the dance break. It was a crucial and exciting day in the process and I feel horrible for anybody who missed it!!
