Lovely Luke!

Good morning bloggers! It’s crazy to think that the show is only two days away. It seems that just yesterday we were singing about Gagaland and undersea parties! After pillow talk two nights ago and reading through the first act last Friday, the cast really seems to be coming together as a unit and putting our incessant giggling aside to raise our baby together (Our show is the baby. Figuratively. We are not spending all this time raising an actual child). Hopefully I can get less fat and more hunky by the time of the show. Whose idea was it to make my character a dreamy bad boy??? I’m more of a Woody Allen than a Josh Holloway…
Well that’s it for today. I feel so trendy for finally having picked up on this whole blogging thing!

Eric’s Bloggity

Ok hello lovewell blog. So my name is Eric Flemons. You may have seen me from my previous appearances in vlogs, shows, etc. So day one is going well. It went a bit slow this morning because we had alot of nit-picking to do. We had alot of little scenes to write, lines to rewrite, numbers to block, and songs to sing. It all got done, but we just had lunch and are back and ready to crank out this last part of ACT TWO!!
Alright guys
It was good talking to you,
But i have a show to write
Live long and prosper

Jonathan Tilkin is in da house!

Yeehaw! It’s Jonathan Tilkin here on monday morning. It’s our third and (sadly) final week, we’ve done so much together, but have so much left to do. I can’t wait to get the day started. As I’m sitting here, the lovely Ambar is telling me how exciting warm ups will be. This slightly scares me, why is it different then most days *gulp*? Anyways, this whole joint is jumpin’ with energy because the Lovewell Jr. show is opening tonight! (come see it!) Hope we see you soon!

Peace!

WOAH!

Kimmi says, “Howdy!”

YEE HAW!! Kimmi Johnson here telling you to buckle up for the wildest ride in the UNIVERSE! We ain’t ridin’ Thunder Moutain or ridin’ solo, we’re ridin’ into the end of week two on the Lovewell express train. This week has flown by like a hawk flies over the horizon, and we’ve written more words than there are tumbleweed in the fields. We’ve been workin’ hard here, never stoppin’ for a moment to rest, but it’s totally been worth it. We open one week from TODAY, and we’re on the right track movin’ at full speed. We’ve got the weekend to rest up and prepare for the ride of our lives next week. It’s going to be more rockin’ than cowboy boots!!!

By the way, it’s Western/rockstar day.

PS-  Luke Katler is one crazy horse.

YEEHAW!

Jolly Jared stops by!

Hellooooooooo blog-readers! This is Jared Corak!
It is now Lovewell week 2, and the writing process is FLYING! By the end of the day, we will probably already have all of Act 1 written! CRAZY! All of the music we’re writing and the dances and the scenes are all meshing together quite nicely I believe.  In other news though, the dance break is purrrrty hard. Marcus works us to the bone. But it will alllll be worth it in the end because the audience will be all like WOAH, sweet moves!

Well, that’s all for now.  It’s too early to have my brain juices flowing.
Bye blog-readers, you’ve been great!

Best Friends Forever!

(: Even though this is my first year of teen, I already know this show is going to be amazing. The people here are so full of creative energy and ideas. I’m already looking forward to the show. (:  Well i’ve gotta get ready for dance warm-ups.

BYE Y’ALL!

Good morning, Lovewell!

Emily saying ‘Ello!

This is Emily Roth and I am going to talk about how I love Lovewell so much. This is my first year here and it is way more than I expected it to be. I can be myself 24/7 and my creative side can shine brightly. The process of writing the musical has been a blast! When I pick my character, I sit with people who are similar to my character and this is where I meet new friends. In one sentence: This camp is amazing for all those who want to be creative and never something you’re not. :)

Seeya at the show!

“Just Another Manic Monday”–with Melissa :)

Hey friends and creepers- Melissa, here!

This is a momentous occasion: My first blogging experience in all of my years at Lovewell! I am psyched! As of now, we have created the skeleton for our show, or as Jamie puts it, we have formed the coat hangers, but now all we have to do is form a beautiful coat (our musical!)!!!!

As far as characters go, Lovewell is promoting dating- not bringing anyone home to our parents, but dating characters that we would like to play. Let’s see how that goes!

This past weekend Lovewell met at beach for a fun, fantastical, day of bonding, beaching, and burning! It was Sam, our Ohio-pal’s, first beach experience, and I believe her newfound tomato-red complexion is a sure-fire sign that she enjoyed herself!

In other news, Kevin just brought in a book of “Pick-Up lines!” I vote a song in our show is a mass of pick-up lines in a bar scene…Does this make any sense? Is this blog just a mass of thoughts, in no particular order, that signifies a Monday at Lovewell?

Only time will tell!!

Lovewell is my favorite place in the world! I am so glad to be back after a weekend away!

Listen Well, Create Well, Love Well!!!

Melissa <3

PS: You must be tired, because you’ve been running through my mind all day! ;D [HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!]

Sun-kissed!

Mackenzie says Hello!

Hello fellow Lovewell …lovers! Mackenzie here! As a first year Lovewell participant, I could not be feeling more at home! Everyone here is not only talented and incredibly creative; but also sweet, humble, warm, and welcoming. I’m so excited to see how the rest of these weeks pan out.

Today happens to be “Costume Friday”. It is also the world renowned holiday, “Catsmas.” Therefore, there are SEVERAL 1920’s clad teenagers and cat ear daunting humans. Ta ta for now!

Tori drops by!

Hey all!!!

This is my first year at Lovewell and I was really nervous about it because my past years at summer arts programs were a fluctuation between good and bad. Lovewell has left me speechless every day when I leave.
Last night was the talent show. I think there should be a new word for talent… something more powerful because “talent” itself doesn’t cover how amazing everyone is.
Today is day 4 and the dance is coming along swimmingly. (Although while everyone dances I’m out in the lobby writing this) ;D
Also, I think the story is starting to turn into something. I’m excited to see what it is!
Anywho, I’m going to go dance my little heart out.
Peace in the middle east! <3

-Tori

Hey, you!
